Creating A Vehicle

There is two ways to create a vehicle for your device.

Way 1:

1. Go to vehicles and select the orange “Create Vehicle” in the right hand corner.
2. Select “+New Vehicle” when it pops up.
3. Step 1: Select the device you are assigning to the new vehicle and click next on the bottom right.
   1. You can use the search feature for the DSN.
4. Step 2: Complete the vehicle information for your customer. Once completed click the orange next.
5. Step 3: Device activation. You should have 3 green check marks.
   1. Activating device
   2. Validating Server Connection
   3. Locating Device
6. Once all checks are green select the orange “Finish Installation” to be sure the vehicle is added.

Way 2:

1. Go to devices and select the DSN that you are installing
   1. It should be highlighted blue
   2. You can use the search bar at the top to look for the DSN
2. Step 2: Complete the vehicle information for your customer. Once completed click the orange next.
3. Step 3: Device activation. You should have 3 green check marks.
   1. Activating device
   2. Validating Server Connection
   3. Locating Device
4. Once all checks are green select the orange “Finish Installation” to be sure the vehicle is added.

**Please Note: You can select the “Install without Verified Location” on the finish installation step to create the vehicle without installing the device first. Be sure to locate your car before it leaves your location to make sure install is smooth if selecting this. **
